Athena Spa is a company that operates in different fields, ranging from the production of mechanical and electronic components for the automotive and aftermarket sector, to the production of technical materials and molded rubber for the industry in general. This is accompanied by the exclusive distribution in Italy of some prestigious international trademarks related to the sport of cycling and free time. Athena is composed of four production sites in Italy, one in India, one in Brazil and distribution units in Spain and the USA.
The need of the company was to speed up and automate data exchange operations between the aftermarket products portal and the company ERP.
The chosen solution was our application DuploDB, which allowed to manage in real-time the updating between management software and e-commerce portal and vice versa. This has allowed to make it more timely and efficient the work of users who manage the back office, without having to intervene at application level or on the structure of the corporate information system.
