This company is a leader in the production of long products made of stainless steel and nickel and titanium alloys; it is a private company with 2,500 employees and an annual production of 200,000 tons of high quality special steel.
The context in which the project was born is that of the Legal Department, internal to this large industrial group, with activities ranging from internal support to the Purchasing Office for the contracts, to credit recovery activities or the management of extra-judicial and legal practices. All the office activities were managed “manually” on the basis of unstructured information, forwarded by the referents of the practice: there was not, in fact, a centralized system for internal and external (law firms) activities, entailing costs and inefficiencies.
The company, which was already using Globe in other business areas, has dropped the product in the “Legal Office” world: as a result now the office manager has full control of information and process flows, through a central dashboard . Every single lawyer can autonomously manage his documents and, through guided processes, incorporate them into the system so they are archived, sorted and shared easily, safely and quickly.
