The problem
The Jesse Spa company, has chosen to install an advanced logistics software to track the location of components in the production process; as management tool they rely on AS/400.
The need that emerged was to keep synchronized the database involved by the two software tools.
The solution: DuploDB
By adopting DuploDB the offices can, without any changes to the software that is already in place, to see the progress and location of the parts in the production process.
The advantages of the solution
The advantages are related to the displaying directly from AS400 and the obtainment of data in real time and without interfaces, for the exchange of information between the two systems.
Finally it was also implemented the ability to track when one of the systems is not available, with the consequent management of critical points.
