The problem
Gruppo Amag is a multi-utility leader in environmental, water and energy services based in Alessandria.
The company had to face a number of managerial/documental problems: the manual logging of incoming and outgoing business documents (mail, fax, letters, offers, etc …)did not provide the opportunity to manage in a more widely and defined way the operations.
Amag then needed greater efficiency, less expenditure of energy and a simple and effective way to archive, protocol, search, and manage in the round business documents.
The solution: Globe
To solve the above problems, the company chose the Globe document management software: the entire project was developed and followed by our partners SoluzioniEDP.
Before deciding to rely on Globe, Amag has carefully analyzed the market offers in the field of document archiving and screened more products and business proposals: in the end the choice was almost unanimous.
The main element that led to the choice of Globe, concerns the possibility offered by the product to manage any type of document in a simple and intuitive way. The other plus, considered important by the company, were also reduced paper waste, fewer employees requiring to move from office to office to deliver documentation and a smaller amount of e-mails, that before arriving at the destination should be sent to different intermediaries.

Once archived and routed correctly within the document management system Globe, the document can continue to “live” in autonomy.
